CAR ALARM SYSTEM

1. The continuous chirping of the siren cannot be stopped by transmitter after the installation of ECU.
1). Check if the plug is properly inserted.
2). Check if the wires are properly connected.
3). The transmitter is not matching the ECU and need to be programmed again.
4). The siren is damaged.
5). The fuse of the ECU is burnt.

2. When the car parks on roadside and armed, there are false alarms by passing heavy vehicles.
1). The sensitivity of the shock sensor is too high. Please lower the sensitivity by adjusting the shock sensor. If the problem still exists, please change another shock sensor.

3. The siren does not chirp when the alarm system is triggered.
1). Check the siren.
2). Check the wire connection between the ECU and the siren.
3). Check the sensitivity of the sensor.
4). Mute armed.

4.Transmitter is ineffective or the control distance decreased significantly.
1). Check the installation location of the antenna.
2). Check the connection of the antenna to ECU.
3). Tall building, radio tower or high frequency electromagnetic wave may affect the control range.
4). Low power of the transmitter battery. Please replace the battery or recharge the battery.
5). Rusty battery spring.
6). The frequency of the transmitter has been changed, replace the transmitter or change the frequency back to match the ECU.
7). The transmitter is soaked or damaged. Change a new programmed transmitter.
8). Low voltage of the car battery. (lower than 10v)
9). If both transmitters do not work, please check the circuit connection of the control box and power.
* Test the system features by another programmed transmitter. If the system features are ok, the problem is from the transmitter.
* If both transmitters do not work, please check the ECU, circuit connections, power source, no need to open the transmitter, ECU can be tested by tester from Steelmate.

5. The siren chirps sharply in 10 seconds after arming and the same situation happened after disarm and re-arm it again.
1). The sensor has problem, check its wiring, sensitivity and fix the sensor according to the manual. Change the sensor if it is damaged.
2). The doors or trunk is not closed properly, close it completely.
3). The doors PIN switch has problem or wiring has problem.

6.The central door lock does not work normally or does not work at all.
